hallo all.. he he just came back from CAMP RENAISSANCE, a 4 day 3 night camp at camp christine and trust me it totally rawkz man.. though I literally became a piece of burnt meat.. haha.. DAY 1 woke up @ 5 ( TOO EARLY 4 ME ) cos have to meet early and end up..when I reach school with Xinzi // viola only ying qi was there.. haha.. then subsequently we saw cars ,taxi merz pulling up.. everybody slowly getting down.. Grotto was totally crowded cos we were all like scrambling up and down moving things like firewood, speaker,drinks food.. Blah.. after Colours.the whole company scrambled into 2 buses.. the first 3 patrols in the 1st bus the last 3 in the 2nd bus.. then cos the 2nd bus was completely filled with luggage and items.. me brenda, cindy, cheryl eunice and jackie have to like squeeze into one of those teeny weeny space.. and to get to one end to the other end of the bus we have to go through a series of '" obstacle course "'.. any way. I manage to find a spot to ait but soon started sleeping.. beneath me was a kettle and some luggage.. and the bus ride was like 1 whole solid hour. any way when we reach there place our luggage then one of the instuctor uncle mal came to teach everyone tent pitching.. haha... me and bren started to walk around helping to peg for PISCES.. ( OUR CAMP PATROL ROX).. then it was lunch before gadget tying and outdoor cooking.. It rained for like twice and shi min was like holding her poncho over the fire to protect it while wearing it.. PRO.. haha... then my patrol cooked some orange chocolate, cheese corn, MASHED nuggets with eggs and blah and claypot rice of eggs with oyster sauce.. and the clay pot rice simply rawkz man cos it is so nice though the rice is not really cooked.. haha.. then went to bathe and that about all for DAY 1 haha DAY 2 woke up at 6 in the morn .. the floor at the lodge was kinda cold and hard.. but i was still able to sleep.. haha.. then brush up.. and cheryl they all was like brewing medicine of milo in the kitchen.. haha then after that the first 3 camp patrols went for kayaking then the remaining 3 stay for land expedition.. Basically is just doing camp craft in land expedition.. for the juniors to like practice and learn.. haha then after that was our long awaited kayaking session... what shall I say.. A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE.. FOR ME .. cos is like when we get into the water, my dear junior partner was already screaming... it is like our kayak to her was on the verge of capsizing.... NVM.. the thing I don't understand is she was feeling sick in the morning and yesterday and yet she wants to come.. any way before we can even paddle is like the kayak already drifted and got stuck to the mangrove swamp.. cos my dear partner was not paddling.. any way I have to get out stick my foot in this almost above ankle deep MUD and push the kayak out.. and my shoe nearly got stuck there.. any way we got out and yes more screaming no paddling.. cos she was holding the paddle at the wrong way and she was quite tired so while paddling halfway she can just stop .. another best part was she claim she cannot see cos the hat that miss sia gave her block her view.. and when she paddle,, I try to ask her to follow by setting left right like in drill yet our paddle always clashes.. even if it does not clashes.. I will find myself constantly splashed by 'rain'.. SIGH.. towards the end was better.. cos ai jia and wei wei ma'am taught her a bit..guess I was not really too patient after all and when we reach the shore cos we it was low tide we have to go to another place.. instead of the place we start off my partner was feeling cold and sick so she went up first and while trying to push the kayak I fell and cut my hand... then came this whole false alarm thing.. but soon everything was kinda over and settled..at night came this sudden sick thing.. suddenly after dinner so many juniors fell sick at one go.. it was kinda scary.. is like stich and stomach pain or serious cramps..until legs turn jelly.. haha.. then I think the most stressful are the teachers cos they have to call the parents.. but luckily most managed to recoverd.. 3 left camp that night and shi qi had some stich thing and her momma came down to help her massage and insist that she stay there.. this is likely due to her momma use to b a guide in AH and wanted her to experience camping life.. DAY 3 wake up as usual.. had some gadget tying in the morning and then after that we went rock climbing. i usually cannot make it one but suprisingly, i managed to make bout one quarter of it.. Came back we had lunch then it was station games.. my station i thin was the most disgusting.. MAYO with potato chips... haha i think all nearly puked.. but i want to prise those who literally stuck their face inside the mayo.. u rawk man.. any way it was the much anticipated CHALLenge Valley next.. it was really mud and more mud.. I cant realy make it to the first round cos it was like my that cut hand kept brushing against those tyres and my plaster dropped so is like i have to experience pain while moving forward.. guess not enuf endurance.. i gave up halfway.. next was like this tarazan swing thing across with tyres.. erm the chains were oily so i mange to make it throught 2.. the last one is the most fun.. mud slide and pool.. haha.. we climb up this ladder thing then came down before going up again to the slide and slide into this murky pond.. througout this process, our foot is always sunk in mud.. haha after that went back to camp then it was CAMPFIRE.. kinda high alll of them.. I emcee with jiayu and honestly I dun think i can ever do it with her again.. haha we cannot clique in such circumstances cos her view is diff frm mine... any way I was nervous but luckily all went well esp the patrol item and the friendship dance.. we all had fun.. then it was knock out.. slept for an hour and wake up for fire drill haha.. then the juniors went back to sleep while we waited until bout 45 min more then we had this like morning PT.. where we told them it was 8 am.. haha.. some came out looking really blur.. I love the hand excerise.. i think we should do it more often instead of those standard 5bx.. more farni and cool.. haha.. and angela demostrate the art of eating biscuit.. haha after that we went back to sleep DAY 4 the last day.. we practically just clear the whole area man.. whole morning was strking the tent cleaning of sinks and toilets.. then we just fall out and we went back to school to give out awards,, CONGRATS TO XINZI FOR BEST ENTERTAINER CANDICE FOR CARE BEAR JUNRU FOR THE MOST SACRIFICAL SHANNA FOR MOST HONEST SHIMIN AND ATHENA FOR BEING THE MOST LOVEY DOVEY PEEPS SHIMIN FOR MOST HELPFUL JIAYUN AND ATHENA FOR BEST CAMPER the rest cannot really rmb... haha if I got it wrong scold me or slept me.. I think I should get the most LOUDHAILER award..haha.. any way the camp rox and though i miss my home bed com.. nthg will beat those exp I had in camp.. hopefully next year I will get to go agian and enjoy sucj fun..
