 ROCKS BIG TIME!!.. I LOVE FOW ( freshman orientation workshop) so first day met clara and brainer to register.. so end up me and brainer in the same group AYTON then clara went to OPHIX.. so yep when we first came in the GLs were all already screaming like crazy..could see their enthusiasm.. so first day.. ice breaking and stuff for first half of the day..then flag making..the whole empire hv to bid for items to make our flag. but in the end we only bid for super glue and colour paper. 10 of us including me went inside the flag comm to do the flag but we could not finish the flag b4 lunch so no choice we have to finish it later.. oh wells initially was kinda boring cause nobody wants to be rah rah people not willing to shout or cheer.. btw I LOVE THE CHEERS!! but 2nd half of the day after lunch was better.. we were splited into sub empires aytrix aytrax and aytrox..( I am in aytrix) and we played station games arnd school.. one I felt quite memorable was the one where we hv to act out an item.. like drum set and ice blender.. oh and each station has a programmer who is the oracle.. and if we guess correctly the oracle we get to have extra points.. and the oracle cheer was totally cute we must like move our bodies and hands..oracle ah ah ah oracle ah ah ah oracle ah ah ah .. are you the oracle?? ..then it was end of the day 1. during the end of day 1 our empire was ranked last among the 5 empires. the other 4 empires were zilra ophix scythia and kaistor and our group got like 123 points.. could see like some people were super demoralised.. including me.. but then during debrief the 2 FAs and the HGL of ayton talk to us.. encouraging us to cheer and stuff.. then also ask us to come back the next day...oh well lucky I came the next day cause the next day was totally awesome.so after the debrief went back to do the flag.. the flag comm people most stayed but subsequently. most have to leave so only me and brainer left to finish the flag.. clara sucha nice friend.. pei us till like almost 9 b4 we left TP together.. second day was totally FUN.. came back and learn the TP school song.. haha we are the only poly to have a school song.. that time I remember going to the TP website and hear.. and when I first heard it I laugh like crazy.. cause the lyrics sound weird.. but when I heard it the 2nd time.. the song is totally awesome.. temasek me.. temasek you we are a team plus there was this hand sign song.. the world record song apparently.. is like everybody doing the hand signs together.. pretty cool. lastly the mass dance.. it rocks totally.. was partnering with a GL frm zilra.. and the dance hv to involve turning and spinning and running and "open open close close open open close" e oh man can someone send me the mass dance song..so lunch was next then was station games again.. but this time round it was outside school.. so yep.. they kinda brought us arnd the tamp neighbourhood near TP.. some places to recommend us freshies to go.. including a bubble tea shop called a1 chendol.. we can get discounts as TP students for bubble tea and of course the oracle thingy was still on.. and brainer even thought of a new cheer for us..so we came back to school.. had dinner then it was performance night.. the main story plot was aytrix aytrax and aytrox were always fighting each other then one day enemies attack them and they all were injured but then they decide to merge and manage to chase the enemies away..and guess how we got injured.. the enemies just did the chicky dance and fart at us and guess what at the end of the performance there was a special item.. mitchell( AHS) and firadus did a strip tease.. it was super funny at how they were like grooving around each other.. then the GLs drag our HGL benjamin up. which happens to be also frm AHS 1988 batch prom king.. OMG it was like hilarious.. and at the end of day 2 .. ayton ranking was first.. OMG we went totally high.. and started chanting from last to first.. from last to first.. we even made a GL cried.. and the GL is a guy.. unbelievable.. end of day 2 day 3 started off by revealing our scores and ayton was ranking first again.. "thumbs up" and then was carnivale games.. we got wet totally and that was also the purpose of the game to get us wet.. played different stations.. but out of 10 sadly we only manage to complete 4..haha during one of the station brainer had to wear something.. but I am a nice friend I promised not to say.. but then when we went back to the hall we were told that the GLs lost our flag we made that time.. and the rules of this whole FOW is that whoever lost the flag hv to do the forfeit.. so we hv to clean up the sports complex hall since it was wet due to people coming back frm carnivale games abd we hv to go for lunch last.. oh wells could see the GLs were all feeling kinda bad for losing our flag.. but they clean the hall up for us instead so yep it was still very nice of them to do so... then during lunch we were given our pink camp tees and we had to wear that for the afternoon games so the afternoon games was mainly HUNT-GRY.. we hv to complete a series of stuff in the list like every 15th of the hour we must chant oleh oleh oleh oleh twice.. every start of the hour the whole empire must drink about 3 litres of water every half hour sit down in a circle and help to massage ya fellow ayton members. interesting one includes wearing our shirt inside out the whole day.. go down the ramp and sing row row row your boat dig your nose with your thumb.. do a cheer outside cheers shop in business school.. be dead for 30 seconds.. plus plus plus.. and whenever we finish a task we must shout ching ching ching ching tamalia.. then was FINAL CLASH last.. oh well all the groups were like attacking our empire.. but then the programme sub comm people died first.. ayton was not killed by another empire we suicide.. which means no body gets points.. smart move man.. in the end ophix won the final clash and then was back to the hall and final scores.. ophix got first ayton got third.. NVM,, we had fun man.. then came like this thank you GL thank you freshies thing.. and apparently it was like GL like freshies.. apparently during the GLs own camp similar things that happen to them also happen to us in FOW.. oh wells we took photos then came this tradition thing in TP.. whenever after camp we would go the ulu CPF macdonalds there buy burgers and eat supper and talk to each other and play games.. oh wells stayed till like 1 am at tampines b4 returning home.. as usual went home.. gawd parents were furious screaming and shouting at me.. but once in a blue moon I really enjoyed FOW alot..
