LUNAR NEW YEAR  THE YEAR OF THE OX!! HAPPY NIU YEAR!! A very good picture to represent this CNY since dear old father is actually an OX!!, BAD TEMPER like a rampage BULL!!yet super hardworking in terms of raising the family. Lets hope in this new year, he will stop loosing temper so easily, bring some peace into this almost deaf ear drum of mine!!So It is the second day of lunar new year already!! tmr is school SOBBs!! but on sunday, had a SUPER GOOD REUNION DINNER as in the FOOD WAS SUPERB!! There was no steamboat but there was shark fin, lo hay, duck, fish, chicken, asparagus prawn( my ahma learn it from TV) and her FAMOUS HAISHEN DUCK!! aka sea cucumber duck!! 'drools"!! I was SUPER BLOATED after dinner so much so I feel sleepy!! The topic of reunion dinner for 2009 was about ARMY as well!! sighs!! My 2 cousins and dad just kept blabbing abt ARMY and I did not understand a single word about it!! But there was blackjack after that!!   5 dollars won only LOL since time was pretty limited!! But I did manage to snap some photos with my 2 cousins!!  NEW YEAR DAY 1!! I finish all angbao collection and bai nian within 3 hours!! The convinience of living just below my grandma house!! Morning just make a visit there and take all the red packets one shot!! This yr gotta be the best angbao haul ever for me =)!! "Kachings" into grad trip next yr =)!! Credits also go to yingzi and denise cause they did a makeover for me for my new yr outfit!! From black bottoms it became a dress LOL!! Went to kaikan to make offerings thereafter!!! Thankfully I did not see much people OOPS ! It would have been pretty weird for me I guess!!!! And after that guess what!! I WENT HOME TO SLEEP HAHA though at night, relatives did came over to taste my mom's cooking!! The female cousins in the family =) thats me yingzi and xinzi!! We belong to the realm of only childs!!TILL THEN, REMEMBER TO PULL YOUR EAR LOL!! Kudos to hisham and seke also.. They did culture ppt slides for us!!But it is still sucky to know that you have to do a presentation immediately on the day after the CNY break!! Off to watch jack neo CNY movie =)!! It will be a good year I am sure of it!! Let it be a fresh start for everybody, friends and family!! Throw back all unhappiness, lets make it worthy oxy 2009 =) |
